Does the "auto-fold" refer to when you try to back up, and the passenger side mirror folds down to show the rear wheels?
That's audo-dip.

Hey Fred, I remembered you said that you can have the dealer program the car to get auto-fold if you didn't have it before. Is that still the case?

Did not work. I don't know if dealer is smart enough to take on this simple case.
Auto fold does not make car look good. Leave mirror the way it is and it looks very nice. I still owe you a favor for installing M5 mirror for you. I always keep my promise, so when you have it, let me know and I'll do it for you. I don't know why you wait for too long for getting M5 mirror. It changes E60 look dramatically!

I was just curious. I still don't think I'll get the mirrors but you never know.

Just purchased recently with the excellent investigative help of nicke60gre these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180062288190&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D180062288190%26fvi%3D1

they're advertised as post 09/05 but the seller has confirmed he can as well send me the pre 09/05 as required for my car.
...DIY will depend on time - I'm going in beginning Jan for progman 24 and aux in retrofit, might get the mirrors installed at the same time (depending on quote <_< )

Can't wait !
