I just scored a nice new M5 dead pedal and want to install it in my 04 545. However, I cant get the old one off. Any suggestions on how to do this. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Armed with this information, I went out and did my M5 pedal install. I used a heat gun to get the old pedal off.
Here is my footwell with the stock pedal removed.
Here is the new pedal in place, still with the protective blue plastic attached.
The melted remnants of the old pedal. It came easily. Took me about 20 minutes.

Get the other aluminum pedals to complete the look.
