Hello all. New to this board and just recently purchased a 2009 528i. I was very interested in adding the M aero package to the car and got a great quote from trinity. I just wanted to get a take on durability with these kits. Are they that different from the factory ones? If it scrapes the ground pulling into a drive way is it going to break easily ect.. Thanks for any info you can give and I look forward to sharing some pics once I get it all done.

You driving a 5 get the kit show us how it looks theres guys in Canada that drive it through the snow unless you know ur gonna always scrape the bumper because of how your driveway is than thats diff any part will wear of tear through time. Welcome we both newbies here but spending time on this forum this forum has alot of good imformation and real passionate bmw owners.

I think it's as reliable as any other piece of OEM bumper you're going to get.
I have had no issues with my body kit at all.
And Joe at Trinity will do a great job, as usuall, getting the stuff you need to make it happen.

Yeah I'm not one to scrape but I just want to be thorough. This is my first entry into the mod world and probably just feeling trigger shy. Want to make sure I don't regret putting it on even though it will look great. My next upgrade after that will be a set of Vossen 20" VVSO94's

Any comments are appreciated!

Welcome.
Just as everyone has stated, the quality of product ordered from Trinity is top notch. More than likely you wont notice a difference between the M-Tech kit and the OEM bumper. If you treat it like the stock bumper, you will be fine.

+1 on the rims, those will be a very tasteful mod.

IMO, the Mtech is very durable and they're not different from the factory ones. Got mine from Trinity

By the way, aboard, CONGRATS!! Happy modding!
