Lower Valance Mesh
Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 530. No sport package or anything like that.
Does anyone have lower valance mesh they put on their car?
I toyed with the idea of a lower lip. But the ideas of scratching it up made that desire fade.
What about a lower grill in black?
I saw a couple. One is pretty pricey. One is cheaper but covers the fogs.

Those mesh are ugly and will make your car look like them Chrysler 300. It's just shiny chicken coupe wire.
You might want something like this - https://5series.net/forums/e60-parts...-grill-139599/
You can get them off of ebay , and if you need a bigger size just search for the bigger dimension.

I'm not an expert on autobody, so you might want to ask your local bodyshop. Or maybe some other forum member can chime in. I would remove the bumper and frame it from behind, trim, then mount/secure it, probably with some small zip ties or black hot glue.

So at first i wanted a lower lip, that passed, then I wanted mesh...
I think I may just have to suck it up and get the m5tech bumper.

Go with Mtech style or M5 style bumper for your car. Trinity and Umnitza has them for a really good price. Once you get it installed, it'll give your car a more updated look than just adding a lip or meshes.

My Ride: 2004 BMW E60 530i, upgrades: Magnaflow exhaust, Mtec angel eyes and low beam head lights, Just purchased 172 style wheels, looking around for the best tires on Tire Rack now. R1 concepts rotors drilled/slotted. Saving for the M-style kit from Trinity Auto.
I am in the same boat, I just got a 2005 530 in black and might do an MTech front and sides, then do the back eventually and go with Trinity Auto
