I would like to know if people are satisfied with the Umnitza quad exhaust setup? Pros and cons?

Pros - not expensive, sounds good, no drone, looks good, easy setup. MPG's also went up by 1.8 (really)
Cons - the only thing is maybe the tips are tad long, but, I got used to it and its custom. Chrome muffler and cross pipe, would of liked it blacked out. I just havent gotten to spraying it black...Been on since September 2010.

All in all, not bad.

That's great that you're enjoying the exhaust. Blacking it out would definitely look more stealth like and sportier. How does it sound at idle? Comparable to stock? How's the low end torque?

Nice on idle, tad rumblier than stock. I cant tell the diffeernce on low end torque, the car just moves nice, especially in sport mode.

SevenUp - feel free to drop up, the same exhaust design is on my own M5, you can hear it for yourself, though it's been on the car for over 20K, so it will give you a good assessment.

Is the piping 3 inch? Any performance loss or gains?

No performance losses, dyno chart we did 4 years ago showed no or minimal TQ gain of 0-1 and 4-7 HP gain.

Piping we'll have to measure exactly - but are you talking about the outlet pipes or the pipe that mates to the existing piping ?

@umnitza Do you offer different tips for the e60 kit? I was looking at youtube videos and there appears to be two or three different tips being used.

Can you please post links to the product. I'd like to see pics and price. And how about the bumper - any changes to that?

Thx.

yes, our first ones were straight cut tips
then we went with rolled edge tips for a while
we've gone back to straight cut because: 1) we found it looks better 2) we found that if people wanted to switch them out themselves they could more easily do this and 3) they don't get damaged in shipping to us or to the customer (if they do, they are easily fixed).

The bumper needs to be an M5tech rear bumper.
