Been a member for about a month since I bought my 2010 e60. Previously had a truck that I would have lost my mind and $ without a good forum..so I found 5series pretty quick and caught Mod fever. First up was the light mods. John@motorcepts hooked me up with MTEC V3 AEs, Interior LEDs and Plate LEDs. High quality products and 95% of the LEDs are full lamp housing replacements, not cheap bulbs. Just finished tonight so I thought I would post some pics. Not a DIY but happy to answer questions. It was so easy I thought a DIY was overkill.

looks really good. I have always loved white on e60's.
how do you like the xenon interior lighting? are they LED's? or just replacement bulbs. i have been contemplating doing the interior lighting on my car, but i feel ill get sick of that super bright lighting..

Thanks! They are LED replacements. The trunk lights, footwells, door lights and plate lights are all replacement housings. So you literally pry out the old housing, unplug and plug up new unit, pop it back in..thats it. The dome lights/map lights are a little more like bulbs. All high quality materials. No strobing when on & off.

I like the lights in my e60 because it has dark wood trim, black leather and black dash, floor mats and dark tint. With the OEM yellow lights, it was too dark.

Thanks Kalrod. Yea I got a little trigger happy with the iphone camera. Couldn't tell if they were turning out so I just took a whole bunch.
