^^ Many thanks for that...that's pretty good info. I see the HID bulbs in the kit you got have 'metal bases' which I believe are much better than the previous/older/eBay style aftermarket HID bulbs which had the cheaper looking plastic base to them. Did you need or buy the 'bulb holders' or did you reuse the the existing ones which I gather is an option instead of using new bulb holders.

Trying to figure out the meaning and difference between 'Heavy Duty Relay' and 'Standalone Can-bus' !!

With the kit I purchased I was able to use the existing bulb holders. They worked fine just as if the bulb were a normal halogen bulb.

You want to order the Can-Bus harness. That has the error cancellers which will prevent "bulb out" warnings on your dash.

The heavy duty harness is not necessary in our cars if you are ordering the 35w ballasts and bulbs. However, if you choose to go with 55w ballasts and bulbs then the heavy duty harness is required to avoid damaging the cars existing factory wiring. Be aware that installing a heavy duty harness is much more involved than the Can-Bus harness.
