Hi Guys,

i just upgraded my tails to OEM LCI tail lights...i purchased plug and play cables with built in relay...the person i purchased them from told me they were on his m5 and needed no coding...once i installed them i got the dash lights...i msged the seller...and he happens to be a mechanical engineer...so he sent me the following images...i'm just curious before i start cutting into the original bmw part...is this how to fix the issue? please see photos...first is the errors that come up...but everything is working...brakes...reverse lights...turn signals...drls...everything works just throws codes....photos 3 and 4 are the procedure to resolve the issue and is only done on the driver's (left) side of the vehicle...the last few are the plug and play cables and the installed set up...please help!!! (i don't know if my photos uploaded)

hey derrion sutton...i sourced the cables locally here in canada...the previous owner told me he got them from UK originally for 160GBP each...these are not bruce cables but funny enough without coding i'm getting the ricky brake effect...i just have that annoying ding sound when i first turn on the car and the notification of a malfunctioning brake light...otherwise i'm fine with it...you can source them cheap from ebay but you have to run wires to your LM if you want truly plug and play (check link 1 below)....or you can always contact ecs tuning and they have their own adapters and cables (2nd link)...but it depends if your just doing the tail lights you'll be able to get away with adapters but if you're doing a full lci upgrade (headlight and tail lights) you will have to upgrade your LM module and may involve some coding....there's a seller on here selling his entire kit....lights and cables...hit him up...username is: NguyenAzn
