Default Installing Mtech front bumper

Hi,
I was looking into buying an mtech bumper for my 2006 530xi from umnitza and was wondering what I'd have to do to install it? Is it just as simple as unscrewing the old bumper and screwing the new one in? Do the fog lights just clip into the existing wires?

It's been almost two years since I did my swap, but I know I had to purchase a set of wire harnesses to get the new bumper's fog lights to work with the stock system. Umnitza should be able to tell you what you need. They told me, but I'm not home to check my old emails. Also, I don't recall having an issue, but the foam on the actual bumper may need to be cut to allow the new bumper to fit. Oh, you will also need to swap the springs for the headlamp washers doors from the stock bumper to the new bumper; they don't fit perfectly either.

Well, that's what I recall, anyway.

You may also need to trim the plastic wheel well lining. Just did mine last week. Came out pretty damn nice except for a small gap under each headlight. Not a big deal unless you're really picky about things like that.

Hey, what's the exact part needed for the wiring harness? I did my install couple weeks back but was not able to hook up the fogs. Can someone help me with exactly what I need to make it work?

Thanks!

Doh! I forgot to check for an earlier reply. Let me set a reminder to check my emails this evening for the invoice that has the adapter cables.

Do we have to use the dremel and make the notches bigger on the sides on a pre-LCI e60?
Thanks

Well, the information on the harness I have is slim. I only have an eBay invoice. It shows I purchased an H8/H11 to 9006 harness from Innovative Wiring LLC. The email of the merchant is GARYTCLARK@INNOVATIVEWIRING.COM.

I don't see it on eBay anymore, but this looks similar: 2pcs H11 to 9006 Extension Wire Harness Power Cord Cable for Fog Light Headlight | eBay
