Installed m5tech front bumper and new projector fogs wont fit
Hi guys so after one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company I finally received my fog lights and m5tech bumper to install on my 2008 535xi.
When Umnitza sent me my bumper originally they forgot to ship me the fogs. I figured they were in the massive packaging but when I finally got a chance to do the install and open everything up they were not there. So I went ahead and installed the bumper without the fogs anyway.
I then proceeded to wait 2 weeks to get my fogs as they shipped them to the wrong address.
Fast forward to yesterday. I went to install the projector fogs and I got the driver side in no problem but the passenger side I can not get the bulb in for the life of me. I can get the fog light housings in no problem but when I try to put the bulb in on the passenger side there is zero clearance. Theres a large metal tank/radiator looking type thing(perhaps something to do with the AC?) that stops me from being able to fit the bulb into the fog light. The bulbs face up, and that is precisely where this metal looking tank is.
I tried putting the fog light housing into the bumper with the bulb already inside it but there is not enough room to get it all in as a unit. There's even less room with the bulb plugged in.
Has anyone else run into this issue? And if so how did you resolve it?
Many thanks in advance friends.
