I purchased from member ?wacopolumbo? his ACS style e-brake handle, shifter, and iDrive knob (http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=66959&hl=). He gave me a great deal, and shipped it quick? Top notch seller! Thanks, Jody!!

I installed all three yesterday? here are a few things to note:
  • The iDrive knob install was the easiest. Simply pull up on the oem knob and it comes right off..
  • The shifter was kinda a pain and I almost gave up.. haha ! I read that you just have to put the gear in neutral and pull really hard and be careful not to punch yourself in the face.. it finally came off after multiple attempts... I didn?t knock myself out, but I did tweak my wrists pretty good?
  • I also read that the e-brake handle just needed a good pull, however, the damn thing wouldn?t budge. I went back and did some searches and found this post with pics from November 2004 http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=4348&hl=. There was actually a plastic zip tie around the base of the oem handle that needed to be cut off, but you need to remove the leather housing first to get to it.
Overall, I like how it turned out.. everything goes great with the ACS style pedals I purchased from Trinity this past summer?
