I just saw this special E60 today.. The car is painted in Imola red II and is not an available at the E60 color spectrum. The owner said the color cost 30 000NOK or 5600 USD extra when he ordered the car.. I like the car, but the rear lights is terrible.. Enjoy it..

Thanks for posting these chocking pics BMW-ALPINA,
Oh My God.
Only creature driving that could be Marilyn Monroe,
and even then it should have clean white seats and be without the hitch...

I see this and I am irritated! I asked my dealer about paying for a Imola Red paint job and they called some guy at the factory to see if could be done. He said no amount of money would let you put a M color on a non-M car. They offered me Crimson Red for $5,000 and I did not want to pay that much for a red that is not Imola.
Although I am very happy with my new 535 in Deep Sea Blue, my favorite BMW color has always been Imola Red. How bad azz would a 535 with the aero kit in Imola Red look?
Congrats to this person for getting it!

Congrats on your Deep Sea Blue though. This afternoon was the first time I've seen it in person on an E60 and it looked really good.

Rear lights and the wheels are nasty, but the idea is good!
Thanks Alpina!

Maybe its just me, but I think that colour is awful. It looks cheap, like it should be one of the options alongside solid black or white (the "free" colours in the UK!). Here we would call that "solid red" or "flat red", and it certainly wouldn't be a head turner (well it would, but for the wrong reasons).
I certainly wouldnt have paid that amount of money to get a colour like that!
