My Ride: 2008 535I Manual
I am a new owner of a 2008 535. I have everything working and correct at this point and with it being a manual I have been able to push it off the line and beat every car that has lined up with me in the past month and a half. So after work, heading home, I lined up with what looked like an older Mercedes and I step on it a bit and guy blows by me. Next light, I spin my tires push 7200 RPM's in 1 and 2nd and dude leaves me for dead. So here is the issue, this can't happen. Will JB4 help? I will spend the money, its a pride thing now.

The JB4 unlocks a bit of extra potential, yeah.
But as a rule of thumb... Don't use the age of a car to judge how fast it is There are a lot of sleepers out there. That old Benz could've easily been an AMG with some mods here or there. I've seen some of those push 500+ HP. In which case, you're gonna get smoked regardless.

I don't think there's much to do, I read that on paper the e55 will take over 550s, that's why I try to stay away from some E550s

My Ride: 2008 535I Manual
It was an AMG E55. From the internet reading I have been doing it looks like a supercharged 8 with 475 horsespower and lots and lots of low end torque. I guess I should have saved for an M5 if I wanted to play speed racer off the line.

Unless it's a G Power Hurricane M5. LOOOL
Stop playing Mr Racer and take corners that's where a BMW wins not off a straight line.
Or at least race a car in the same class.. maybe G35, new Nissan Maxima 350z etc

Go jb4, cobb, or any flash tune.
I have 535i with cobb and you can really tell the difference!!
If u seek more power without bolton look into meth.
Hear people are getting around 400whp with it.

You bought the wrong car to walk an E AMG. By the time you spend the money to get to 400+rwhp (don't think its possible without RB turbos), you should just sell the 535i and buy a faster car.
Check N54tech.com. Those guys are much more performance oriented.

Don't mean to rude but, there will always be someone with a faster car no matter what u drive. It's all relative. I bet at some Honda forum some kid is crying that he lost to BMW.
