Default How do I remove this trim piece?

Before I go and just start ripping at things, can anyone tell me how to remove the silver piece that spans between the fog lights seen in the picture below on the bumper? We called these "finishing rods" on the E90. Apparently that is not what it's called on the E60.

It's pretty easy to uninstall but you have to remove bumper, there's bunch of clips from inside.
To take off the bumper shouldn't take you longer than 10 minutes.

It pulls right off. Its attached to the center grill. Thats how I change my fog light bulbs. Through the front grill.

Just start from one end. I pulled mine off and painted it black.
