Default HID angels - need help, advice

Hello. I´m pretty much determined to order this HID angel eyes kit in 6 000k colour for my E60 530xd LCI. Does anybody have any experience regarding this particular kit? What about their quality, reliability, brightness etc.? Check the link to see the kit:

Any experience and comments will be appreciated.

Believe me I would if I were from the US. The problem is I live in Europe (Slovakia) and just the shipping and customs fees would exceed the actual price of the HID kit itself This HID AE kit is on sale in the UK, the price is quite good and the shipping isn´t too expensive either. I´m probably going to order them this evening. Hope they won´t start flickering after a while or burn out totally. Any ideas?

The ebay add seems like they will be a good set. Make sure that you take some good pictures. I curious as to how small and compact they are.

Yes, they are claimed to be A Grade quality in add. They give 2 weeks quarancy to return the set and refund the whole price of it. I´ll take some pictures when they arrive, I just wanted to know something about the reliability and quality of the set taking into account rather the experience of people owning this set than what is calimed in the add, because 2 weeks aren´t quite enough to see the real quality and reliability of the set. What about a year or more??? BTW, what do you think about the price of the set? How much is it in the US, without installastion, just the set on its own....

Generally stay away from HID angel eyes, they may be bright but they burn your fiber optics so that over time, you will lose output and your rings will be more and more yellow/discolored.

The best option is the highest power H8 LED kits like the new Dtec that we carry:
DTEC V6 H8 LED Angel Eye 40 WATT [AEDtH840W] - $129.99 : Umnitza|BMW Angel Eyes|LED Angel Eyes|Headlights|Lighting|Performance|Service|87748 66489

or the higher output:
DTEC V7 H8 LED Angel Eye 64 WATT [AEDtH864W] - $199.99 : Umnitza|BMW Angel Eyes|LED Angel Eyes|Headlights|Lighting|Performance|Service|87748 66489

HID kits for your car's angel eyes can easily be $90 or less, but it's not a good option.

Has anybody experienced burning their fiber optics and becoming their HID angel eyes yellow or discoloured after some time having them installed as Umnitza said???

yes, all headlights will eventually look like this with HID installed into their H8 location.

There is no way to prevent it. No one makes a low intensity HID bulb that still produces a lot of light but not a lot of heat.

Either way, the new slate of Dtec products are equally as bright as the HID in most cases and provide no burn in effect.
