HELP! HID Fog Lights - Malfunctioning

I am trying to install these HID Fog Lights in the place of my E60 stock fog lights. It works for a minute or two and then says malfunction . . . The install shop is saying it is not working because it is sensing a different pulse of power. Anybody have any suggestions ?!?!?!?!?
