Sorry to dig an old-ish thread up.... I recently got an e60 LCI auto. The previous owner fitted a SAT paddleshift steering wheel thinking it would be plug and play, which we all know it isn't.!

I wan't to get this working and I know how to code with BMW standard tools. The PreLCI looks easy enough to wire up, the paddle shift switch just interrupts the shifters manual mode signal. However I'm nut sure how to wire this up for the LCI model...

I've looked at the EGS in NCS expert and enabled the "PADDLES" option, but this hasn't worked. Any ideas how to these working on the LCI e60?

Has anyone got a guide or photos about how to wire this up.
I have all relevant parts but not sure where the extra 2 pins are located, if I have them on my 2006 535d.

Thanks

If you have sport package with round airbag, you need to buy SMG wheel, paddles, and my kit.
If you have hexagonal airbag, you need to buy SMG wheel, paddles, airbag and my kit. Lots of members on this forum have gotten the kit.

I'm interested in the kit for 04 I have the hexagon aitbag
