Gateway 500S BT single FOT
I'm very interested in getting the 500S BT for my E60, but before I make my purchase I want to make sure it is completely compatible with my car. I've seen some other threads with compatibility issues of text not displaying when playing iPod, over BT, or making calls.
My car is an '04, with 6.6" iDrive screen (M-ASK?), No bluetooth, No AUX in, No NAV, but I do have Logic7 w/ 6 disk changer that I plan to fully replace with the Gateway.
If it is compatible will much programming be required for full functionality of this particular gateway? I imagine the car will have to have BT and Phone functionality programmed into it?
Is this the best, most fluid integration of all these features for the E60? I am not actually buying this for iPod connection, more for the USB and BT for phone and music are there better (and cheaper) options that accomplish this?
