how do i solve the problem if i already have a 55w HID kit with the 9006 bulbs for my fog light and a H7 55W Hid kit for my highbeam ready to be installed on the car??
the kits are from vvme.com

They have to be Digital in order for them to work.

I think that by high beams he means the regular headlights!

cuz people dont put extralights on a beemer man.. =)
i want more light. =)
Welcome to the forums

If you don?t get them working, PM brabusw209amg. He knows and is also able to get you the right HID-set. I just made a deal with him and my fog HIDs are on the way across the bay.
I definitely know what you mean with the extra light...On LCI car I have double xenons and even those high beam HIDs are not enough!!! I have done everything to prevent myself installing my Bosch Navigators to my 530. Those additional lights are unbelievably better than the stock, but like you said you can?t install them on a beemer

Thanks for the recommendation!

Like my PM said, try reversing the polarity first. It may flicker and give you a nice light show if the ballasts aren;t made for it!

I dont recommend using 55 watt HID kits at all. Use only 35 watts. See if you can get a refund from the company. If you can, lemme know I I'll give you an easy plug and play unit without headaches.

I cant change the polarity because is 9006 HB4 bulbs. the plus and the minus is plug n plug cennection and not like the H7 where u can change the polarity as u wish....
Or am i wrong???

Hi,
i recently bought an 2005 E60 525i in sweden.
i have OEM Xenon in my low beam but i want to put HID in my high beam and fog lights,
will i get problems if i buy a 55watt kit in the high beam and foglight?
I thought that all E60 xenon's were bi-xenon, meaning that the reflector moves for the high beam. The inner lights merely flash with a pullback on the stalk and are used as daytime running lights. May be a US thing.

It can be done and I've done it without problems. I bought my kits from brabusw209amg, along with a relay cable for the high beams and it all works perfectly. No strobe effect, no errors.

a relay cable will be needed for high beams if it's also shared with the daytime running lights

i would stick with 35w hid kits, we have had no issues at all with our mtec hid kits, and no flickering as well
