To blink before opening is a good idea. So which light's blinking do you mean? Brake light? I don't think the brake light can blink because when you open the rear door normally, the brake light doesn't blink.
I got comfort access so I don't need to unlock first.

the chinese guy has used the F10 post 2012 parts , here is the link for retrofitting it , if someone can get his hands on the parts and some changes let us know
