Hello everyone! I own an E60 550i Manual and i would like to get extra HP.
What mods would you suggest ? :

1) Are there any SC kits available now ? I know the Esstuning kit but i cannot find it anymore.

2) I'm also looking for headers but Supersprint ones are very expensive, so i was wondering if there is another company with good headers at a better price.

3) RPI Scoop V3 for 550i - I've heard the best for this little thing, worths ?

4) What about the AFE Throttle Body Spacer? Does this thing really work?

Any help would be much appreciated!

As you know, ESS may be the best option, there may be a roots type offering out there, not 100%. The other mods you mentioned are useless and won't make any difference in hp. A kn filter with a factory box works best. Headers are expensive, and with out modding the rest of the exhaust, and tuning for it, would net a bottleneck. The boost will be consertive due to the motors material.

I have the same car and I was looking to do a SC on it and ESS did make one however I got in contact with them and they discontinued this SC because there wasn’t much demand for them. They’re is a company in Switzerland that makes one but never did any research nor bothered to contact them. I did long tube headers and bought them off eBay from a reliable company in Germany. Read a bunch of reviews about them and they are 100% compaiable to supersprints but I do warn you it is a pain in the ass to get them on. Motor basically has to be dropped. Had to get a tune shortly after but still need a custom exhaust done. Is it worth the power, idk yet. Didn’t have a chance to throw it on the dyno.
