E60 2005 no system alarm fitted in Vehicle on Japanese import
The car was purchased and has had lots done to it, however the buttons on the key never worked, so bought a spare key from BMW only to find that didnt work either, eventually got it booked into BMW for a system check and learnt it was the diversity antenna was faulty, anyway £700 later and 11 days at BMW i got the car back, i was now to find the alarm not working, so back to the stealers again who did a check on the car only to find that from new one was not installed, bit of a shock but i never knew this as the key had never worked by the buttons, so this time off i went to a alarm specialist who has installed a good alarm which actually functions by the BMW remote keys, all in all it cost me a £1000 to get it sorted out but i feel better for it, now just got to pay off the credit card
