i just came back from hangin' out with Eloy from RPI. i asked him about any possible mods for my 535i and he made mention of a intercooler they have for the e92 335i. as of right now, due to a lack of interested 535i owners, he has no plans on building an IC for the 535i. he did tell me if i can get some buzz and serious interest from 20 heads, he would put it into production!
as i mentioned, they currently have an IC for the e92 335i. here is some IC & dyno info from Eric@SupremePower:
pls keep in mind, these pix & dyno resultsabove are from a e92 335i.
the current sale price of the e92 335i RPI FMIC's $1199 shipped. pricing for the 535i would be in the same ballpark.

The unit is a work of art, beautiful welds and inlets, bar and plate construction, designed to maximize cooling efficiency and minimize pressure drop. This is a bolt on kit - utilizing the stock hoses and hardware. NO cutting or modding is necessary.
For our dyno run, we used a Dyno Dynamics dyno which gives us very conservative numbers. Regardless, a 26whp gain is all we need to say. Test was done same day, we did 3 pulls on the stock IC which had slight drop in HP each pull. When we did the RPI IC, we noticed HP GAINS each back to back pull (4 total), most likely due to the ECU adapting to the lower temps. This was done with a very large fan with the hood closed.
This is a great product, and the has been getting faster as we keep driving. There is a noticeable gain in top end. The test car had AA software and Britalman catback

RPI builds the 335 intercooler for a very well known BMW tuner who private labels them and sells for more. These are the same guys that introduced the ram air scoops for the M5.

My Ride: No mods
too bad I doesn't fit my car.
Good luck on this John. Hopefully some people will wake up and see how much potential the BMW TT engine has with engine mods.
Wait for the chip, SI (Jesse) is going to blow the waters and kill the competition when he figures out the software.
