Custom Turbo Back Quad exhaust Install on 535i..pictures inside
Finally the day has come where my full custom turbo back exhaust has been completed. Pictures pretty much explain it and videos to come soon....Needless to say I am very happy with the outcome and it sounds amazing. Hardly any drone and sounds just like a twin turbo car should! I would like to thank Rob over at Florida Performance for the great work and if you live in South Florida and want exhaust done go to him.
The exhaust system, call it a race setup, starts with Dr Euro 3" Catless Downpipes to 2.5" mandrel bent tubing to a dual in dual out (X inside) Magnaflow Muffler then split to turbo tubes in front of the custom built ceramic coated dual/quad tips. Install time was about 6 hours and is built in a 3 piece sectional with new hangers and reinforcements put in. Total cost for materials labor and parts came to $950

Someone please also help me diagnose my smoking problem in the video above. BMW says its because I have no cats left on the car however I think that does contribute partially to the problem but there has to be something else wrong.

Black smoke means your burning too much fuel.
Are you running an aftermarket map?
If so it could be a little rich.
Also could be a clogged air filter, fuel filter, fuel line.
Black smoke is usually not as concerning as blue and grey smoke.
