Default The Wheels

I love the deep dish rims up front on the right car. What size are the rims (width and diameter) and tires on that one?
That's awesome!!

Good eye. After being installed for months, you are the first person to notice it ...which is good as I intended for it to be subtle. The lip is commonly referred to as an 'ez lip" or 'home depot lip" it is essentially garage door weather stripping.

I trimmed the edges and mounted it as far back as I could; my goal was fill in the gap underneath the front bumper much like the splitters you see on hybrids (Prius, Volt, etc.) which is there for efficiency.

Since my car is unique in that is has an oem M5 bumper and an N54 engine there are not any under-body panels which will work so I added this splitter to add some (minimal) protection and aesthetics. So far so good and it has taken some beatings while traveling on rough mountain roads on the way to a trailhead.

I can explain the wheel...

Originally all 4 were Plasti-Dipped white. I noticed my rear tires were getting very worn down on the inner edge due to negative camber, to resolve this issue I swapped the rear tires R>L and L>R and in doing so the Dip was damaged.

I intended to show a friend the white wheel so I left the front Plasti-Dip applied since I had removed the damaged rears.

Surprisingly I liked the white wheels,, the only issue was cleaning them. Like all white wheels they get dirty but since the surface was rubber it was much more difficult to clean, especially with the design of the F14s.

As stated in post 8 and my signature, the wheels are Forgestar F14 Super Deep Concave in "textured gunmetal" finish.

If you click on my profile and view the threads I started, most of them involve me whoring out my car in one way or another so there is much more eye candy for you there, but as requested: a couple close ups.
