Your question has nothing to do with this thread. I doubt anyone here even knows what you're talking about. Why don't you start a thread for the question? That's more likely to work.

For the MUTE question. Look for a thread where I showed an option for cheap AUX-IN without coding. That has the mute signal that you are looking for.

In terms of swapping the woofers, please don't tell me that you missed my thread on swapping the woofers. See my signature and the many other thread on the subject. Yes everything can be made plug and play and Technic even does a cable to make things that much easier.

Guys,
This is going to sound funny. I have been debating on doing the CiC on my car and I have the 676 option but don't want to ruin the audio. So when I read this thread for the first time, I didn't quite pay attention to the subject and dropped straight in to the diagrams.
Now I come back and look at it, I see that this is exactly what i needed.

So is there an easier way to just throw in an amp and the wiring ?

One thought, rather than running extra amp etc, could you use a loc low output convertor to turn the high output to a low output for the original amp?

Okay,
I had mistaken - I have the Dirac on my M so no worries, CiC on the way soon

So this is the CIC "woofer fix" correct? How does this compare to installing with the JBL MS-8 here:

https://5series.net/forums/topic/124...-ms-8-install/

Do you still need to do the "woofer fix" in order to get the proper sound output for the MS-8?

Please help. I'm currently having issues with low level and no bass on my MS-8 setup with the newly retrofitted CIC.

Thanks

This thread does not apply to your 752. It is a 676 thread. There are no analog signal outputs at your iDrive, no wires to tap.

Any CIC swap will just be coded 752 and it will work the same as your current CCC.

anything new about this? only good solution is to get external amp for the subs? Could this problem be solved with ie. Logic 7 retrofit? Im seriously thinking about it, sound quality with this setup is crap.
