Hi Everyone,

Was done on a 335i but similar results for 535i. Not too shabby.

Michael,

Given that the 08-10 335i and 535i have the same engine: N54. i would imagine the results would be pretty much the same? The factory specs for the N54 claim 300hp but dynos dont lie. I have never dyno'd my 08 535i but according to your dyno chart, the stock 335i & 535i for that matter are actually running closer to 240hp as oppossed to 300hp? Thats nuuuuts. Im definitely ordering a Cobb tuner.

crank horsepower vs wheel horsepower.

240 seems about right for an automatic (i.e. about 20% drivetrain loss)

crank power is totally different than wheel. wheels also reads differently on differnt dynos(ie mustang dyno, dynojet)

I know that here in Utah, with a 91 octane map, the E60 M5 is barely faster than my 535xi. With the 93 octane map, my 535xi is faster than an M5.

Keep in mind that the altitude effects the M5 more than my 535.
