Auto shift selector cross-compatibility?
I do not like the leather and "titanium" auto shift selector in the E61 (2006 530xiT). I'd like to swap it out for an all leather model such as 25167533347, which is listed for the E46 and E31.

I don't know much about auto gear selector compatibility but it looks to have the same base as the E60/61 shifter.
Any thoughts on cross-compatibility?
