Cheapest way to get LCI brake light effects on Pre-LCI?
What's the cheapest way to get LCI brake-light effects on a Pre-LCI model? Specifically a 2004 BMW 525i.

The cheapest way is to find a cheap set of lci taillights. The tails are completely differently internally so the only option is to upgrade.

I actually heard there was multiple ways of achieving the LCI brake effects on a Pre-LCI. Apparently there are wiring kits or some other kind of boards that does the conversion?

Yes there are multiple ways but in the end you need to have lci tails first. Then you can figure out the wiring or by a set of Bruce's cables, v6.1 I believe.

You will actually need to buy, obtain LCI tail lights and switch them out. Without having the lights physically you won't be able to do this mod. Unless there's a secret that I have not heard of.
