I am seeing conflicting information all over this board.
Can you install the iPod interface on a MASK equipped 10/03 build 2004 530i? If not now, ever in the future?
I assume it has Business Radio, but it may have Professional since they did have to swap out the MASK unit at some time during a warranty visit. How can you check if it is Business or Professional? I know it doesn't play MP3s and the car was updated with the latest software back in September.
Thanks for any clarification you can offer...

My Ride: 2011 F10 535i, Graphite on Oyster, ///Msport, Executive Package, XDrive
I had a March 04 build E60.
It did not have NAV and it was determined that it had a Business Radio. I believe that on the early builds, No NAV meant Business Radio. I think this was confirmed by Iceman some time ago IIRC.
My understanding after speaking with the ipodyourbmw product manager at BMWNA in late August was that the early builds would be fully compatable once software updates were released.
The whole MOST?ipod interface is on hold pending release of updated software by BMW. Perhaps the new release will include the retrofit programming for the pre 03/05 builds.
