Doesnt work? I think you need to burn it to cd first. After it installs sysadm, and you click to install TIS, it says "setup drive is being searched" than it gives error "Setup files could not be found"

i folow the instruction from the pdf file ....and i go WIN95-BMW-TIS-SETUP(SETUU MFC APPLICATION..BMW AG..376K
i 2 click then it ask me select language for the setup..i select english usa and i click yes and nothing happen?!?!?why it not start to setup?!?!
if a SYSADM IN WINRAR FORMAT end when i want to unarchive it tell me that:
unknow format or damaged?!?!?
can anyone help here...?

yes Windows only
right-click on a setup file and open it as administrator
if WinRar give you the message: unknown format or damaged.... check the message again in detail sometimes one or two files are downloaded incorrect and simply you have to re-download these files.

Download all 7 RAR files
Download and install the RAR software trial version from here: WinRAR
Extract the first RAR file to your hard drive, the software will extract the files from the rest of the 6 files automatically
Burn the expanded files to a DVD (it is about 3.5GB of data)
Navigate to the DVD drive and find the following folder: \WIN95\BMW\TIS
Run the "setup.exe file and install the "Sysadm" program to your hard drive
Run the "Sysadm" program and install the TIS software to your Windows computer by selecting "TIS- Install"
The TIS software should begin loading from the DVD
I can't help you much beyond this- I did this the hard way by trial & error.
Does anyone know if this software works in Vista? I loaded it up on a WinXP machine.

You need to select "Vehicle Identification" first. Input the last 7 digits of the car's VIN and everything should work.
This is most assuredly not the most user-friendly software to use.
