BMW e60 LCI audio upgrade from EU stereo, help needed
Hello,
i Have a e60 523i LCI late 2007. Unfortunately just the CCC system.
There are two speakers in the doors, two "subs" under the chairs and two speakers in the rear shelf. I secretly looked in the trunk hopefuly but no OEM amp in the back, so really the basic system ... And it also sounds like that..
I still have very good Ground Zero stuff from my younger years,so i would like to use that first, before im buying new speakers.
- A very good 3 way set(Ground Zero Nuclear GZNC 1650) but the speakers do not fit. But how do you attach the tweeter and filter ? Because normaly you do the tweeter and speaker on the filter, and the filter goed to the AMP. But how do i wire it now ? cut the wires from the oem speaker to the "amp on the filter" and use new wires to the tweeter and speaker?
- 4 channel amplifier(Ground zero Nuclear GZNA 4350x) and 2-channel amplifier(Ground Zero Hydrogen GZHA 2350XII): this I want in the reserve wheel compartment but how do you now integrate best with the OEM head unit ? High low filters and then through RCA connectors to the amplifiers? ( and do you get these high/low signals from the back of the headunit ?)
I want to later upgrade the speakers, but I have all this already and wanted to see how much progress I am making this way before i put money on speakers.
I Have a big sub but have no folding rear seat and ski hatch .. and want to continue using my trunk. ( also dont want to cut it out)
This I what i have :
Ground Zero Hydrogen GZHA 2350XII amplifier (2-channel).

1 x 1500 watts max. Mono @ 2ohm
(1 ohm stable, dual power)
Variable low-pass and high pass filter - Phase inverter
bridge Turn possibility
External bass control
plated plug terminals
Ground Zero Uranium GZUW 300sq subwoofer

Power WRMS @ 4/2 Ohm (14, 4 V, 1% THD) 4 x 120/220
Power WRMS @ 1 ohm (14.4 V, 10% THD) 4 x 350
Ground Zero Nuclear GZNC 1650 (composet)
Specs:

Ive already read alot of topics but most use or a PNP cable ore a complete set.. or have the OEM AMP.
I hope to get some good advice, and sorry for the bad english.

This site sells the harness you are looking for and he will be able to assist you with those specific questions. I have the HiFi system so a little different than the base.

the front, rear and shelf speakers are 4", front/rear tweeters used are normally 1". Loom as above or GLADEN AUDIO Accessories sell them too. under seat sub options are limited due to depth, few out there to consider...specs similar to this https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/28244824295...6327183&crdt=0
With boot subwoofer, cant see much option but to cut ski hatch or shelf to pass sound?
