Default bmw e60 530D

Hi guys my name is Mike am 18 and I live in greece
530d is my second car and i want to change few things in this beauty.
Is it possible to get quad exhaust in my car even if its diesel because I heard its impossible ;/
My car is from 2003 so i don't have particle filter so is it still possible?

Yes it is possible. It doesn't matter if you don't have the DPF.
You can not put a muffler on the right side (unless it is a tiny motorcycle muffler) though, because the battery box is there. It is the same with all E60s, except M5. This is mine (Nevermind the yellow fellow):

Thank u mate it helped me a lot
Now i have to think about doing this in my sweetie
When u start up your engine is it easy to notice that muffler on right side is kinda "not original"
Where exactly did u made a "connection" with original exhaust? Because I think it depends how we connect new muffler

The sound is 100% the same as with original. In a diesel engine it is pretty difficult to get it sound different .

I cut the original exhaust pipe behind the DPF (a center muffler in your case). You can see the cut/attaching point in the pic below:

Hi there !!!! Wanna do the same to mine , mine is a 2005 !!! How much was the pipe and where can I get one from !!!!! Please help !!!! Does it sound any better !!!!

can you say where you got your exhaust conversion from please, I am trying to trace similar to do my 2006 530d
