I was quite happy with my car and was therefore very reluctant about an upgrade. I researched intensive and had finally the following companies on my shortlist: DMS, Hartge, Hamann and Digitpower (Switzerland).

I?ve read a lot of very positive reports in the BMW Car Magazine and other magazines and had quite intensive email-exchange with Mike Cooper of DMS (very good bloke indeed). I?ve sent many PM?s to forum members and everybody reported extremely positive about the upgrade (performance and reliability) and the fine service of DMS.

Finally, I was convinced, that DMS is the way to go and Mike sent an engineer over to Switzerland to upgrade my car.

And now, I regret: I regret very much, that I was waiting that long, before I DMS?d my car. The upgrade is any pound worth I spent for it! It?s almost incredible how powerful it is now and how smooth and harmonic the performance is. Thank you Rob: this is a masterpiece of a remapping!

In the next weeks I will report regularly about my experience with the ?new? 535d!

i can surely imagine your joy after remapping your car. did you take the 334HP or the 350HP one?

i took the 350HP one and it is now a real Beast! Torque increase is amazing. I hardly ever do above 2500 revs.

As far as I know: there is no option with DMS. It's 334 fantastic HP!

I used e-maps for mine, same programming as DMS but cheaper, amazing results but only really gets me close to an un-mapped 535. Re-mamed 535 must be awsome

After about two month, I feel the need, to report again about my experience with the upgrade of DMS: it's still very, very impressive! Normally, the kind of power delivery is very smooth, but if you nail the trottle, it goes like a (very powerful) plane. Especially the big turbo is working very strong and overtaking is very much easier and faster than before.

Last Friday, I had my car in the BMW-garage for servicing: nowbody detected the upgrade!

I convinced a friend of mine, to upgrade his X5d and he is now also a fan of the upgrades of DMS!

I dare to rise the question, why BMW don't offer the stock 535d with a performance like DMS!

That's because they didn't test drive it, then!
