Unlock Car with Cell Phone Passive Keyless Entry PKE Smartphone | eBay

I'd give it a try but i'll need someone to tell me where I can find the positive pulse wires for LOCK and Unlock. Also what colors they are..

This would compliment my FLrsBM1 remote start very nicely

Important Information regarding the BPKE module's outputs

The outputs of the BKPE module can be used only to trigger lock/unlock

functions, DO NOT attempt to power lock/unlock motors directly from the

outputs of the module. It is helpful to use a databus module on modern

vehicles to control the lock/unlock and factory arm/disarm whenever there is

one available for the vehicle. Door Lock Relay modules can also be used in

place of a databus module.

I am also planning to add a module to control remote starting & lock/unlock from my cell phone. Since Directed lists Smartstart as being compatible with the FLRSBM1, I checked the Viper website and was planning to add a VSM200 module (Viper SmartStart Module) to my car. I've been hesitant because the VSM200 module can only be activated by an authorized dealer. Some dealers are advertising activation service for $25 on eBay. I'd then have to purchase a service plan through Viper (Viper SmartStart Service Plans). Total cost: $90 VSM200 + $25 Activation + $140 3 yr service plan. I'm still researching to confirm no compatibility issues. Installation instructions: http://www.directed.com/SmartStart/D...010-08_web.pdf

I just talked with viper... apparently the module uses 2G network. Don't use it. 2G is almost non-existent. Sorry pal

I'm gonna try to go with the PKE2102T. I'm calling up a few places in NYC to see if they can install it.

After viewing multiple Viper Smartstart youtube videos, signal speed was no more than a few seconds. On Viper's website, the following is posted: Viper SmartStart works over the 3G cellular network or over Wi-Fi, giving you virtually unlimited range anywhere in the U.S. As long as your vehicle is in range of a GSM cellular signal and your phone has a 3G or Wi-Fi signal, SmartStart will work (Viper SmartStart FAQ). I bought a new module for $80. I'll know in a week or so if the purchase was worth it.
