Default Bilstein B6 on 535xi?

Anybody have experience with these? My xi has nearly 200,000km on the original dampers and it's getting quite floaty and bottoms out easily on large bumps. I've always liked Bilsteins on other BMWs.

I could just go with the original Sachs/Boge or whatever, but that might just be the boring way.

Boring is good if you want a softer ride. I recently installed the B6's on my '07 530xi and HATE them compared to my OEM Sachs.

I guess ride quality is subjective, and I don't really want to rattle my fillings out. Bilstein says they're about 20% stiffer than OE...

Buddy of mine said "how do you find all the rattles on a BMW? Put Bilsteins on it." lol

What I would like is a ride that doesn't crash over every bump, bottom out, and then loft the car afterward. We put Sachs Touring on the X5 and it rides great.
