Clear Coat On Grill always Go within months
Im having a problem i cant get around. Ive been through several carbon fibre grill and within 6 months they turn yellow. The last grill i ordered i made sure add an additional three coat of clear and it was the same problem. I know the 550i gives off serious heat but is anyone else having this problem?

Who is applying the clear? I know if cheap inexpensive clear is used, it will turn yellow over time and certain conditions can also accelerate this. Often it can be corrected if not allow to go beyond the Abyss, by wet sanding and re-applying clear. If your grill looks better when you get them wet this is normally a good sign that a new clear could improve it. If this is your situation I would give them a good wet sanding with 800 -1000 g paper and go by you local body shop and see if they can spray them for you.
