AWD engine block to RWD chassis

My Ride: 2006 525i
AWD engine block to RWD chassis
I have a 2006 525i with a blown engine and I have access to another N52 but it is from an AWD E90 (325ix). If I swap the oil pans will the E90 engine bolt up and work in my RWD chassis? Thanks in advance for any info.
