I checked www.zeckhausen.com for the modified CDV. Part # for 2006 not updated. Is it the same as 2004/2005? Thanks!

Bump.

I heard from a fellow enthusiast that the replacement of the CDV for an E60 is a pain in the a$$. He heard from Mr. Zeckhausan himself. Anybody try this yet?

I had the best BMW shop in town do it for $100. While I was talking to the owner, we heard a scream come from the shop. He went in to see what was happening and came back and said "that's what happens when the technician forgets about the hot catalytic converter". Bottom line is they did a great job, replaced the CDV, bled the system. Took them about an hour.

I would pay someone else to do it.
