Also, how's the navigation accuracy? Is it spot on or does it goof off sometimes?

When you switch modes out of iDrive to navi, video, etc, does an iDrive warning/error override and appear on-screen immediately?

Let me clarify what I mean a bit more. Lets say you're in the Dynavin video mode watching a movie. The car throws up a coolant temperature overheat warning. Will iDrive override the video mode to display the temperature warning and chime immediately onscreen? Or will you have to manually change modes?
