I would like to retrieve this post that I already posted in other section without response.

My car is a 2006 530D and would like to set a new wheels, 19's, actually on the OEM 17's.

I'm between the M5 style 166 and the style 128, but I'm concerned if the M5's with tires 255/40 and 285/35 will not fit.

Style 166 will be at 245/35 and 275/30 rear

Both styles OEM

Anyone knows ?

The e60 can handle 19" 9.5 wheels with 275's and to evidence that, you can get a set of 172m with those specs from BMW directly. Not sure about the ET (offset) and the particular wheels you mention, so I suggest you go to realoem.com and enter your vehicle data and then check out the specific wheels BMW recommend for it.

Thanks NavarroOne!

At REALOEM the 166 style it does NOT appears as a rim to the E60 sedán, and this must be like that, cuz it's a way to "protect" M owners with this minor but important details, exactly like it happens with the bumpers, the shock absorbers and guides are with some minor modifications between M and standard bumper.

285/35/19 rear tire size must be rub very very possible at the e60 sedán

Very useful tip to comfirm my suspected, tks.

I will go with the style 128, very nice and rare to see in the neighborhood.

Bro, no offense, but learn to use the search function - this issue has been beaten to death on this forum!

I just put oem 128's on mine for the winter. I eve. Have 15mm rear spacers and will be getting 10mm for the front. They look great! Tyres are 245x35x19 front and 275x30x19 rear. Great looking set.
