Default Ü | umnitza.com - John Cheng's new "eyes"

John Chen from Iowa just sent us his E60 headlights with his originally purchased Orion V4 rings. He couldn't find anyone in his area to do the work.

We custom painted the whole headlight a gloss black and installed the Orion V4. John is very pleased, he sent us photos today. Looks amazing in the sun AND shade, also has a cool blue hue to the photos!

Oh, and John also had previously purchased our pre-painted M5tech front bumper, sides, and rear bumper service/product.
His car is coming along nicely!

It took a while because we were very busy with lots of headlight builds and there were some "change orders" in the process. All in was 2 weeks. Sometimes we can turn it around in 5 days, sometimes 2 weeks.

Please give us a call so we can work out a custom quote for you based on your needs.

Install is $450 for the following work:
1) Cut open each headlight
2) Remove existing components
3) Install our rings
4) Reseal using our proprietary process - X 2 layers
5) Apply finishing silicone
6) Test for moisture

The work roughly takes 6-12 hours depending on the lights and what options you choose. That is why we charge $450.

Parts are extra though we do give a discount for purchase the rings at the same time.

We have standard fogs and projector fogs.
the only issue is that for the m5, we do not have the associated brackets to make them fit.
BMW used to sell an aftermarket bracket kit for the M5 for fogs, but we do not sell that directly.

If I were to have you guys do the installation on my headlights, do you guys have another set of headlights I could use while mine is being worked on? Im about 45 minutes away from your shop (I used to buy a bunch of parts for my E36 a couple years ago from you guys) and Im going to need my headlights when Im driving home from work... Or do you guys have a how-to on installing the Orions?

Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Usually quicker by phone or our emails.

We don't currently have a set of headlights to throw onto the car. If you want, we can do one of 3 things:
1) Do it in the morning and tape off the headlights so you can drive the car back home and park it.
2) You can "rent" one of our spare cars to go back and we can keep your car here til we're finished with the lights. By rent, you are responsible for gas and a small $50 rental (up to 3 days).
3) You can simply ship us the headlights (local shipping is very inexpensive).

We have a DIY on the web site, youtube.com/umnitza it shows what steps we do to install them.
