As the topic says, The 2006 m5 that i had traded in w/ the newer one is now for sale and is online listed as a CPO vehicle. I got a decent tradein since they're are asking $41995 for it now. The car is so clean and nice. My only reason for trading it in was the dealer warranty had expired and i do not trust 3rd party warranties. It would be a good car for anyone to buy so i thought i'd give y'all the heads up.
It is silver grey and indie red interior, some pics are still in my album... Gud luck..

well, we know how low we can go!! LOL.

Oh btw, CPO means NOTHING more than slapping 2 years additional warranty. I've seen how dealers CPO their cars. Their a million point checks? NONE!

So whoever wants to pick this up, it's good since Shezie takes care of his car.

I thought the condition-based service for M cars triggered oil services more frequently than run of mill e60's. Based on the information available at that BMW dealer's website it looks like this '06 M5 had 5 oil changes in 4+ years ... 50K+ miles ... But I could be wrong ...

I feel we're past the days of oil changes every 3K miles but isn't the equivalent of an oil change only once a year / 12K miles stretching it a bit-specifically for an M-Car ?

Well see synthetic oils are suppose to have much stronger viscosity than regular oils thus the break down doesn't occur as fast. In M's you just have to make sure that the level is right cuz they burn oil also.
