The M5 will not have foglights.
BMW M director Helmut Bruhnke said so himself that the car needs the intakes for engine cooling.

Just got a call from my friend, who ordered his M5 20/7. He has now got production start for his car - week 15 2005!

I called my dealer to get info on my car but their server was down.
They could not get online with BMW.

One strange thing with my friends car - he had to cancel the option 638 prof phone, to be able to get the order thru for production????

That?s strange! My friend has the first customer order in Sweden.

Maybe it?s the dealer/demo cars that will start being produced in January?

Probably!
That's the point they start making the emmy. So demo cars and diplomatic cars come first, as well as the ones for customers who allready purchased an emmy before, I guess. then they will start shippig some to the US and deliver them over here...
All I know is, I want to testdrive one of the demo cars! And even if it is for just one Km...
