Its sat in the showroom with its plates on and ready for its first kiss!!! Only 13 hours to go!!!
Thought about smashing the windows to get at it however decided to just lick the glass instead.

The camara's ready to go.

So what's the likelyhood of Dasher UK managing to stop driving the M5 for a short while and post some pics - probably after 1200 miles hey!...

@Dasher UK, Hope you've now stopped licking the dealership's window, taken delivery and are enjoying your new ride

Well thats day 1 done, along with the first tank of fuel!!!! WOW!!! Why did i wait so long? I have'nt been over 5000 rpm yet and still can't get that stupid grin off my face. I can't tell you what i really want to because kids my read this, needless to say certain parts of my body are excited
WOW need sleep but want to drive
Have encluded some pictures however doctored the plates as not sure if its wise to advertise your plates on the net. If its ok let me know and i'll put the originals on?
Have also included a couple of the outgoing baby along with the newbourn....A nice touch i think

CAN'T STOP NEED TO DRIVE HEHE

HELP....HOW DO I ATTACH PICS???? if i click on insert image it asks for a URL??

The dealer says it's ok to do the 1200 service at 300/400 miles?? is that right? What get's done at the service?
NO, you do the 1200 service at 1200... its necessary for the engine to be broken into properly... at 1200miles you will get your LC and other stuff unlocked, using them before proper break in has finished is... bad

Well thats two weeks done, 1200 miles service done at 1196 miles and the last 250 miles done at full throttle. B....y hell what a car!!! The wife thinks I'm having an affair cus when she doe's get to she me i have the most stupid grin on my face that only losing your virginity or driving an M5 can give you.
Well i spent several months reading what you guys had to say about the beast trying to decide weather or not i was going to part with all that cash. Now it looks like I'm going to spend the next few years THANKING you all for leaving me disfigured with this stupid GRIN.

WOW....

Regards and Thanks again
Mike
