Update on MY07 M5 with 6-speed manual
#1
My dealer told me today that - at least in the US - the E60 changes to MY07 designation with March or April production, and that the 07 M5 manual would be available shortly thereafter. If I put an order in for a manual M5 now, I'd be number five or six on his list and, he says, it'd be an August or September production car.
BTW, although BMW doesn't have a formal ED program for the M - with the normal 7 or 8% discount off US MSRP - my dealer says that I can still pick up the car in Munich and have BMW ship it over when I'm done. I'm counting my frequent flier miles now!!!

So, the dealer is claiming the MY change over in April for the E60 includes the M5? Also, as expected with the MY07 M5, 6 spd will be offered at this MY change over? Cool...We're in for EU delivery as well, but not until October due to 6 spd, but we may move this up now! Thanks for the info - hope it stands.
