There's a discussion going on in the General E60 Forum about dual exhaust (https://5series.net/forums/topic/236...-exhaust-idea/). I posed this question there, but received no replies: Does the M5 have a true dual exhaust (i.e. pipes out of both sides of the manifold)? There's some crazy pictures posted of what lengths people will go to get the dual exhaust look. Please tell me that the M5 has two sets of pipes all the way down the length of the car!

Hahah this is funny.
It actually has 1 - 1 1/2" pipe from the manifold to the cat to the muffler, and then splits after the muffler into 2 pieces and then 4 at the tips. DUH
