i dont get this sprint booster thing
doesent it just steepen the throttle curve so as u press your foot down it just tells the car the pedal is further down then it actually is?
but it wont go over the max pedal position
so surely just stamping your foot on the acc foot to the floor is EXACTLY the same as using the sprint booster?
never used it my self but ?250 for a probably a little ?5chip just altering some data seams ALOT of money lol

Let me also add this...
On top of an ECU Remap, the Sprint Booster still adds a night and day difference. You're probably saying, it can't, as a remap also removes throttle lag. As we all know, it's main purpose is to provide additional HP & TQ by changing the fuel timing. HOWEVER, it does not remove enough throttle lag. Just a little. The Sprint Booster removes most of the throttle lag. The only one problem for people is that some feel it can be "too jerky", which is why some return it. Just a quick tap of the accelerator and the car takes off. Some don't like this feeling.
I will tell you this though... When I have my car in M mode (500P Sport), the car just TAKES off without any hesitation. It's insane. My wife doesn't like it so much as it thrusts her head back into the seat out of first gear. It's actually quite funny.

you are just a wind-up artist, it's a known fact the sprintbooster
works, doesn't matter if you drive a M5 or a 525i, so DON"T get one and keep silent but don't spoil the fun
by saying "it's crap and doesn't work", i'm sure you drive like a tosser so thats why it doesn't work, loser
and don't think you're superior by driving an "M5" it's the same price/cheaper than mine in HK, we're all equal on here.

A good read here -> http://www.crosslake.net/~dbipes/sprintboo...rintBooster.pdf
And a good summary of the article here from SchwarzeEwigkt on Bimmerfest:
"Read it for the in depth stuff, but the short of it is that the Sprint Booster is a little amplifier, nothing more. It increases the signal from the pedal box by about 30%, meaning that the ECU thinks you're pressing the pedal about 30% harder than you really are. You're effectively using a megaphone to make your will known to the committee.
This would definitely make the throttle feel more responsive since you're making a smaller amount of right hoof count for more, but know this:
For 300 bones, you get:
* A pedal that feels more responsive because the gain has been turned up,
* A pedal where the top third of the range of motion doesn't do anything since you've multiplied the signal by 30% and max it out by 2/3 throttle,
* And, the kicker, the same thing you would have gotten if you pressed the pedal a bit harder."

thats what i thought
never used it my self so cant really comment on it
BUT
i cant see how it removes lag as its installed BETWEEN the pedal and engine
so surely just stamping the pedal is doing the same job lol???
