most useless mod in the world. My friend had it on his 530i and sold it less than a week later...
Nah. You need to try it in your M5. If you feel the same way after, then you're not driving your car aggressive enough.

I can see where your friend's coming from, but personally, I think its a must mod - yes, it does not add any HP, but it gives your car a very specific competitive advantage, which you cannot get any other way.

All it does is increase throttle response and on his manual 530 we found that it made driving the car less enjoyable. I would definitely NEVER buy one and especially not when it costs the rediculous price that it does...

the funny thing is, right after he sold his SB, the guy who bought it from him ended up selling it a few days after he got it as well. This is by far the most hyped up mod on the site lol.

dude, honestly, you are either fvcking with us or have no clue what you're talking about. Except, I've read some of your previous posts and never thought - of all people - you would feel so strongly against the SB.

I have a manual 530 and my car is MUCH more enjoyable with the SB. Perhaps that SB was damaged. Saying that SB is a worthless mod is like saying "why get an M5 when you can just get 550"...

I have a feeling that the SB that he's basing his opinion on - the one his friend had and sold - was not calibrated right, because it is impossible to arrive at the conclusions he had stated previously with a properly operating SB. It just isn't logical. Or, like I said, he might just be fvcking with us
