Hi,

I have fitted Eibach springs, after 100km i did the geometry of the car again, but now i have some shaking in my steering wheel.
I have feel the car shake a little bit.

What could it be and who had it also after the fitting?

New tyres, new brakes so this cannot be the issue.

Please help?

thanks
Filip

Did you perform the required wheel alignment afterward? This could clear it all up.

Yes i did the wheel allingment after 100km like the garage told me.
Maybe i have to perform it by a bmw dealer, they know maybe better then a tyre dealer.

thanks for the fast reply.

did you get the tyres and brakes at the same time as the eibachs? if yes, you need to check those, not the springs.

Also, you might want to check to see if any of the wheel weights have fallen off (or were knocked off when alignment or spring install was done). This would cause a severe vibration too especially at speed.

if your steeling wheel is shaking from breaking while reducing from high speed! Then it could be a bad rotor, i have the same problems before from some aftermarket rotor on my old Lexus! most BMW don't reservice their rotor they just replace it. but if you have aftermarket one you might just want to try to reservice it and see does it work?

Again, check the wheel wieghts - they usually remove these when they change the tires because no 2 tires are balanced equally. If it's not the wieghts you will have to have someone take a look at the tie rod ends, they shouldn't have been loosened, but I have seen bigger screwups at shops.

have your upper control arm bushings checked and replaced them. chances are they're worn or near it's useful life. these bushing are always under a lot of stress especially at takeoff and hard braking, let alone the engine weight. this should solve you problem. good luck

agree, check the wheel balance first.
